Hello!
I’m Lacey, the fin behind little fish in a large pond. I’m from a pretty area of the south near the large pond down here, the Gulf of Mexico. I originally began blogging in 2011 with an anonymous personal finance blog I began while interning in Canada. At the time, I needed something to distract myself from being 2500 miles away from home.
Now, four years later, my life has greatly changed (big surprise, right?). I still want to (and need to) focus on my finances, but I’ve found that I want to share more of what keeps me swimming! The goal is for little fish in a large pond to be more than just a personal finance outlet. This is also a space to share other things that are important to me: teaching, yarn craft, kitchen craft, fitness, and balance.
